From 1 November 2019 changes were made to the system of reporting deaths to the coroner.
Due to these changes we would now expect there to be delays in doctors issuing death certificates. Please note that this is totally out of the hands of Doctors who are required to work within the new system. All of our Doctors recognise that any delay will be extremely distressing for families and loved ones and we will endeavour to minimise the delays as much as possible.
